During my tenure as a Game Designer at Aaryavarta Technologies from October 2016 to June 2018, I had the privilege to work on an exciting football game called "Joga Bonito." This engaging multiplayer game was designed for both iOS and Android platforms, offering players a top-down view and an immersive football experience.

As a Game Designer, my responsibilities included UI design for both the game and server, crafting the in-game economy, handling client interactions, setting timelines and milestones, and designing captivating game mechanics and systems.

"Joga Bonito" is a captivating and free-to-play multiplayer football game, exclusively designed for the Kenyan audience and available in Kenya's game stores. The game was strategically launched during the World Cup, leveraging the fervor surrounding this global football event. It was highly localized for Kenya, featuring the involvement of real Kenyan brands investing in product advertisements within the game. Players could earn brand points during gameplay, which they could redeem to purchase items online, enhancing their gaming experience.

In "Joga Bonito," players experienced the thrill of football action with simple gameplay and realistic physics. The game offered both online and offline multiplayer modes, enabling players to challenge their friends or compete in online tournaments against players from around the world. With the option to collect different teams and cups, players could customize their experience and aspire to become the ultimate champion of the soccer world cup.

The gameplay emphasized strategic and skillful play, encouraging players to pass the ball to their best players, take precise penalty kicks, and anticipate the moves of the opposing team. The flick soccer mechanics added an extra layer of excitement, requiring players to flick the ball right and left to score the perfect goal. Defensive tactics, such as obstructing opponents' visibility, were crucial to securing victory.

"Joga Bonito" offered an ever-improving gaming experience with each new update, combining football and multiplayer excitement with stunning animations, ensuring players were at the top of their skills while playing their best soccer. The game aimed to turn players into champions in this virtual world cup.
